The Science Teachers' Association of Queensland is the professional association of teachers of science in Queensland. As a non-profit organisation we rely on funding from our membership, professional development conferences, and the generosity of sponsors in order to co-ordinate activities that support science education, teachers of science and students. Steve Wozniak - Live in Brisbane - STAQ Member discounts

Friday 26th August, BCEC
As the co-founder of Apple and inventor of the personal computer, Steve 'Woz' Wozniak can truly have been said to have changed the world. He's a passionate proponent of STEM education and we really want to see students and educators at this event. Woz has been to Australia before, but tickets were over $1,000 on those occasions. We want this event to be informal and accessible and adult tickets will start from under $100. The evening will be hosted by Jordan Nguyen, a young Australian bio-engineer and inventor of a mind-controlled wheelchair.

STAQ Members can use the discount code, included in the eNewsletter.
